Moldex makes the products that millions of people across the world use, yet if you ask someone who Moldex is, chances are they won’t know. Moldex wanted to change this fact so in May of 2008 they sought out the help of Dogs of Design. Being the top dog of earplug and respirator manufacturing isn’t something to bark about if no one knows who you are.  With this in mind, Moldex required the help of Dogs of Design to redesign their website as well as help with rebranding of the Moldex name.

Website Branding Obstacle

Moldex has a large customer base however most of its customers are government programs. The biggest obstacle that faced Moldex was how can it expand that customer base to include the regular public and industry fields? Another obstacle that Moldex wanted to overcome was the showcasing of their products. Their previous website made it difficult to find the particular product you wanted as well as how to order it.
