DOD Videos: Branding & Marketing in the Viral Age
At the end of 2010 the Studio got together to work on a promo video for an insurance convention. The concept for the video, in its infancy, was about as drab as selling insurance itself.
It was a simple concept at first, throw something together to educate people in the insurance field about marketing technologies. Perhaps we could discuss how they can use social media platforms such as Facebook & Twitter to stay in touch with their constituents? Maybe we'll tag on the importance a professional website design and a pinch of website development to bring up their marketing image?
In the end, our message shows how branding and marketing today are an amalgamation of all the tools available to the free market. The core concepts of transparency and openness permeate the marketplace today and the more companies that take up the mantle, the more information there is to do battle with your competitors.
