Down and Dirty: Groundworks Photoshoot
It's common knowledge to everyone here at the studio that the floor might as well be my second home. Well, it was common knowledge after that party a few weeks ago, and especially after those photos from last year's Halloween party began circulating... Anyway, this week I had the opportunity to put in some QT with the underbelly of the photo cove when the crew of Groundworks piled in, ready for a shoot.

Skillfully maneuvering their screaming-orange whip and brandinshing all manner of frighteningly sharp tools, Groundworks came armed to the teeth with enthusiasm and kick-ass attitude. After slapping on the wide-angle and readjusting the lights just one more time, I slithered, rolled and squirmed my way through a couple gigs of memory. Photographer's Tip #1: When urging your subject to crack a grin, making a fool of oneself is often prudent. After cranking up the lights and fine-tuning the pocket wizards, Max manned the laptop and kept an eye on the wine.

After spending so many hours a week as pixel jockeys, a photoshoot is always something to get pumped about - as clearly evident in the photo featured below. So thanks, Groundworks, for getting us up, off our asses and back behind the camera. (But if I found out who's been circulating that photo of me in a very compromised position - I'm bringing the hurt down.)
